What does Dysport do?
Dysport allows the treated muscles to relax and thereby relaxes the surrounding skin. The relaxation leads to a softening of lines that are caused by muscle movement.

What is the difference between Botox and Dysport and which one should I choose?
Botox and Dysport are both excellent treatment options to soften fine lines and wrinkles associated with facial expressions and aging skin. They are both manufactured and purified from naturally occuring botulinum toxin and both have been well researched and studied for optimum results and sfety. The majority of the population can use either of these products and have excellent results. However, there are some people that find they prefer one over the other or find that one lasts longer or feels more “natural” to the individual person. There are some slight differences in protein structure between the two medications that can account for these individual differences. Our providers at Blush & Grey will help guide your selection of Botox or Dysport based on factors in your personal history.
